Very nice unit in an above average building.![]() We were very satisfied with unit 229. It was clean and decorated nicely. Looks like recently renovated. The Glacier Lodge itself is above average. We were not directly connected with the front desk downstairs so any inquires and requests had to go to front desk at Chamois which was not very convenient. We would stay there again.
Awesome Location, Amazing Vacation![]() We received 211 cm of snow the week we were in Whistler. It was amazing! The kids were able to put their skis on outside the Glacier Lodge door and ski (or be pushed) to the base of Blackcomb for their lessons. The location was the perfect spot for our family. It's a short enjoyable walk to Whistler village and returning to Glacier Lodge we truly enjoyed the quieter atmosphere for relaxing in the evenings. We had an amazing week and would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Whistler. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall it was good but there were just a couple of niggles. The cooker failed to maintain the temperature, so our Christmas Dinner was about 3 hours late to the table. The electricity kept tripping and the desk staff wanted nothing to do with us as we were not Glacier Lodge guests. Fortunately we worked out one of the hairdryers kept tripping, so we stopped using it. The washing machine and dryer were not in the appartment, which the advertising led me to believe, which provewd a little inconvenient as other people obviously used the equipment and we had top stay in and wait for it to finish, so not as to inconvenience other guests
great property, plenty of room, good location, good package with only one small problem the hair drier kept tripping the power.![]() A drying cupboard would be useful, when you are travelling with children.

Glacier Lodge 229![]() The experience in this condo residence was overall very good. We were only two people but I could see how it could accommodate a family of up to six or two related couples. The sleeping setup upstairs is the reason I say that. You have to travel through what could be the sleeping quarters of children to get to the master bedroom. We were either fortunate, or unfortunate depending upon your preference, to be in Whistler during their heat wave. Daytime temperatures were in the mid 30’s and it took until early morning to cool down the unit. We had to leave the windows and balcony door open to let in the air as no fan was provided for the upstairs sleeping section. The ceiling fan, despite being on from the minute we walked in until the time we left was unable to cool the sleeping area. However, remember that the average summer temperature is considerably lower and this unit is equipped with a fireplace and heated floors.
