Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake: The Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake features two to four day workshops from beginner to intermediate level instruction in oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, sketching and life drawing. The program is inspired by the beautiful mountain environment of Whistler and Alta Lake Station House, the rustic heritage home located on Alta Lake waterfront with views of Whistler, Blackcomb and Wedge Mountain. The classes run from 9:00 am to approximately 4:00 pm each day. |

Whistler Farmer's Market : The Whistler Farmer's Market returns to the pedestrian streets of the Upper Village (near the Fairmont Chateau Whistler) every Sunday this summer, featuring local produce from the Pemberton Valley and beyond, tasty artisan foods, live cooking demos by Whistler Chefs and live music. Whistler GranFondo Bike Race: Popular in Europe, this mass participation cycling event is open to all levels of ability and the first ride of its kind in Canada. Starting in Vancouver and ending a grueling 120 kilometers later in Whistler, this ride features 2,400 meters of elevation gain along the incredibly scenic Sea to Sky Highway. Cheakamus Challenge: A mountain bike race like no other, the Cheakamus Challenge starts at the Squamish Airport and ends at Dusty's in Creekside. Featuring more than 2,000 metres of climbing and 72 km of trail, this race will test your mettle with big climbs, high speed rolling terrain and the classic Sea to Sky single-track. For beginners and juniors, the Pique Newsmagazine Cheakamus Light offers a 40 km course beginning at Cal-Cheak Campsite at noon. |

Crud 2 Mud Downhill: The Crud to Mud is a ski/snowboard and mountain bike epic race. Participants ski or snowboard from the top of Whistler Mountain to the bottom of the snow line, then hop on their bikes and ride through the Bike Park. The Crud to Mud is a classic Whistler event. |
